I'm so excited, I just had to show the beautiful toys and playstands my DH made for DS for Christmas with people who would understand (my family still doesn't quite get the idea of natural, open-ended toys yet).
DH is a teacher with very little woodworking experience and really basic tools, but I think he did a great job. If we can do it - anyone can!
We're planning to be Waldorf-inspired homeschoolers and have really not had many toys for DS while he's been so young (he mostly has played with household and kitchen stuff) so he's enjoying having more of his own things and we're happy to have things he can grow into.
