No way! I think great minds think alike. Plus, I'm adding River to my list. Maeve used to be on my list, but our last name starts with such a strong May sound that its just a bit too much and my neighbor & his son are Leifs.

Would you be pronounciating it Leaf (son) or Layf (Dad)?

This baby told me her name in a series of several dreams about a year ago.

Unless it surprises me and comes out a boy!

Siobhan for a girl. Ronan for a boy.
No idea on middle names yet though. Something Irish and earthy would be nice. Clearly I have plenty of time though.

I'm a huge sucker for old-fashioned names too! I was really stuck on Eleanora for a long time, before I met DH… but he refuses to pick a name that can't be spelled and pronounced easily in Danish. Dagmar is an old-fashioned Danish name, so we both win with that. I'm still trying to convince him about Evelyn for a second girl, but it would have to be, like, Ævelin or something for anyone to say it right, and he thinks it looks too weird.

We're in big trouble if we have two boys though. Aside from Bastian, we can't seem to agree on anything.

Yes, I have a huge list I've complied over the years... But this time (next?) I'm not finding out the gender or sharing the name.

We also picked names before we were even ready to TTC. We're not finding out the gender or sharing names either. I need to get a good look at the kid first and make sure the name seems to fit! : )

We've agreed on Elias Abram for a boy & Abygail Marie for a girl. I've always loved the name Rowan, and would like that to be Abygail's middle name, but DH hates it. I don't think it will be an issue, I'm quite positive this will be another boy. We have a tradition of R middle names - we have a Jacob Riley & Liam Reid But I just feel the name Elias Abram so strongly, it just has to be. Liam was going to be an Andrew, but I wasn't crazy about Drew or Andy as nicknames so the day before I had him we decided to go with Liam instead and I can't picture him as anyone else but Liam!!! Boy I rambled, sorry about that guys, must be the decaf coffee I'm not used to

Well, I must say that I'm partial to Leif

Of course we've thought about it, and I think our two girl names are:

Sora
Fern

And boys:

I have no idea. Leif didn't have a name for like two weeks, so I'm sure it will stump us again!!
