Bloody show and due date today!!

Today is my due date and I"m still waiting on babe. I also had some bloody show, not much but I have been losing my plug over the past week so I'm hoping that is a good sign. I went to the doc this morning and I'm actually progressing some (I know it means nothing) I'm at 1-2cm soft still a bit high but DD didn't drop until transition so I'm not worried and could go anytime now...at least that's what doc said.

Sorry, the post really isn't about much. I just had to tell someone, and since I don't have anyone here I though I'd tell you ladies because you'd understand about being excited.

If I had to guess I would say you will be going soon. My water broke a few days after I lost the first part of my mucus plug. How exciting!

I went into labor about 36 hours after my bloody show started. Looks like you are on your way - rest up, hydrate and best wishes to you!

Today is also my EDD, and I just saw my midwife. I'm 1-2cm... almost fully effaced, and I've been losing my plug for a couple of weeks now... though not really any color to it.

I'm hoping this baby stays put for the next 36 hours though... my extremely thoughtful sister scheduled her wedding for tomorrow (she's only been engaged four months... so it's not like she didn't know), and I really don't want miss the wedding. (I missed another sister's wedding last time because DD#2 came the night before... 17 days before EDD.)

I'm sending you all my labor vibes... hopefully you'll have your baby today or tomorrow, and you can send them back to me tomorrow night.

that is exciting! It sounds like it'll be soon! I can feel your anticipation... I was the same way just 8 days ago. I was SOOOO thrilled to lose the mucous plug, and my contractions actually started within the hour (and baby was born within 8 hours).
