Chest freezer size questions

I am in the market for a chest freezer and am wondering if a 5 cu ft freezer would be too small for our family of three.

I want to buy meat quarterly and freeze berries, veggies, etc in the summer.

I can fit a 5 cu ft one in the space I have now with no alterations. Anything bigger is going to require removing a sink. We don't really use the sink all too often but I think removing it will require the services of a plumber which equals more $ and that is something I try to avoid.

What size freezers do you all have and are you happy with the size of it?

We have a 13.8 cu chest freezer for our family of five (and 2 raw fed bullgods) We did a slightly larger one because of energy star and price. It was cheaper, and larger than the other one we were looking at.
I think we could have gone smaller, down to even 8 or 9 cu. I buy local lamb every year, plus we share a 1/2 cow. There is more than enough room for that plus extra veggies, and what not. HOWEVER, I just purchased the freezer after the harvest season, so I might be filling it up this summer.
