Hubby had a great idea to have a personal chef come make us our first meal
He will call when I hit active labor and she will be coming over with some things prepared, some she will put together when she gets here. This is the menu we picked out.
-California rolls and avocado rolls as an appetizer
-Baby green salad with sugared walnuts, goat cheese and citrus vinaigrette
-Chicken Francese for me and a grilled portobella/ eggplant moussaka dish for hubby
-Grilled Asparagus and red pepper in a garlic butter sauce
-Lemon Herb Risotto
I'm planning on making a birthday cake for the baby during early labor, so we will have that and some chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert with champagne.
I can't wait.
My mouth is watering. What a special treat for you guys and so festive! What a way to celebrate! I love the champagne at the end......I guess just love that you are making it so special-birthcake and all. I can see how my kids would think that was really neat-having a birthday cake for the baby.
That will be something to really looking forward to.
