Did anyone catch the "Science of the Bible" presentation on the National Geographic Channel yesterday afternoon? In particular - although it was all excellent - the segment on "The Real Mary Magdalene" and the gnostic gospels?
I am more convinced than ever that women played a much bigger role in the early Church than we all realize - and that there probably was, to some extent, a deliberate campaign to cover up this truth. The evidence is there, and it's fascinating!
