Muffin Tins or Stonewear?

I need a new muffin tin. How do the stonewear ones work, do you have to use paper liners all the time? How would you get in the cups to scrape them out afterwards? Where can I find a stainless steel not non stick one otherwise?

I have cast-iron ones and they're great as well as they're well-seasoned, nothing sticks Just get them pre-seasoned and then just make sure you grease them well so they stay good and seasoned They're wonderful!

You can get six-hole ones all over the place - www.lehmans.com has them I know. I have to sets of six and two sets of 11-hole, that I got online from shoppers choice.com (or something...), I paid $13 each plus $8 s/h..

11-hole ones on shppers choice:

I've never had luck getting anything out of stoneware without scraping it... so I'd go with stainless if you're opposed to silicone (which i what I use).

I saw some at Organic Grace.

I use stonewear and never had an issue, just turn it over and smack the bottom and out they fall. But I did have to season and bake my stonewear to get it to release.
