Really? No one's checked in yet? Are you all giving birth?

I'm thinking today is the day! Woke up at 6:30 with cramps, then bloody show around 7:30. Now contrax are pretty mild, but coming every 5-8 minutes! We're going out to breakfast. Will try to post later. It's so weird to have no idea how long this is going to take. My first was fast and furious.

Good luck all you birthing Mamas!

Lucky! Nothing going on here - I had an awesome birth dream last night and Jenny (transformed) was there.

Ugh still here. I got up around 2 w/ intense contractions every 4-5 mins apart and bloody show. It stayed that way for about 3 hours and then petered out to about 7-8 mins apart and a little less intense. DH left for work around 5ish and by 6 they had spaced out enough for me to sleep. DD woke up at 8:30 and life is going on. Contractions are about 15 mins apart or so now... Grrr prodromal labor hell.

41w 2d, last night i was having brax hicks 5 min apart. i thought that might turn into something, but no luck. i was also feeling a lot of pressure on the broken crotch, hah! but i'm still here, waiting.

Good news is that the broken crotch feels much better today! Contrax have been 5 minutes apart since 9:30, but very short. Now they're spacing out. i hope this isn't the start of days of labor since I just made my sister drive an hour and a half to get here!

Still having tons of bloody slime. (TMI-Yum!)

I'm totally, totally jealous of your bloody slime!
ooh! ooh! i want bloody slime too! pleeeeeeeeeease?

40+1 here. my mom is coming today. was hoping to have baby before now, dont know when i'll see her again.

i went to town last night. did some shopping. i had SO MUCH PRESSURE in my pelvis and crotch. a couple times i got almost panicky with it. i had to hang on to the cart. i'm hoping that means at least baby is nice and low.

i actually slept halfway decent last night. i really slacked on my water intake the last couple days, now i've got some swelling

DH cleaned the whole house while i was shopping yesterday

Happy First Anniversary to Hubby and I! First anniversaries are paper, right? After feeling very little movement out of our normally spunky active baby, and I just don't feel "quite right", we called into the community midwives to see what they wanted to do. We ended up going in for an NST. Baby perked up during the tracing and even had a case of the hiccups--so I "gave" my Hubby a happy tracing of the baby's heartrate and movements.

He is now out getting us some yummy Chinese for supper and we are going to watch the Bourne trilogy tonight.

we are home and much happier, but I still feel a little "off". I hope that I am not coming down with anything....

oh, duh, 40 and 6 today.

Hi,
Wow, there aren't many of us left now...
I am 40 weeks 4 days and still no signs of anything happening. I am jealouse of all the exciting signs most of you are having. I haven't even had any BH. I have been super active and taking walks and going on hikes whenever I can,but still no luck getting anything going.
Oh,and my mom leaves tomorrow. I can't believe my bad luck ... I thought for sure baby would be here by the 20th. But I still have time if baby comes in the next few hours... I doubt it thought. But please send megood thoughts and labor vibes.
I really don't want to introduce myself to the Jan DDC.

Seems like everything is progressing slowly here. Contractions slowed and are anywhere from 8-14 mins apart but intense when they do come. DH is at work so my mom is coming to hang out with me. DD asked to bake a cake out of the blue an then informed it was "Her bruder's" birthday today... wtf? How does she have any idea about all that. We'll see if she's right. She's been right on before.

40 + 3 here.

I have bloody slime, too. It's actually a pretty pink color.

I am not comfortable, but am not having regular contrax at all. I feel like I could be in this place for days.

DH took the girls and went out to do some grocery shopping. It's weird to feel like every day could be *the* day.

This is a VBAC for me; I am very excited to see what normal birth is like and to have my baby in my arms right after he or she is born.

If you don't birth in December, are you supposed to go join January?

ELVs & good thoughts for all of us who are still left!

40 today! I have a head cold and feel like crap, but other than that baby is good, mama is okay.

Highly emotional day.
Had 9hrs of constant, consistant intense contractions, I just couldn't get 'into it.' Bloody show, the works.

I'll be off the computer until the baby is born, or feel differently than I do now.

So glad to see so many new babies being born!!!

I am also wondering when to go introduce myself to the January DDC. Maybe we could go start one thread and do it en masse.

Or maybe I should just stay here.

Kat! I hope you have a baby SO SOON or feel better. The end of pregnancy is so so so hard. I wish I could give you a real life

If you do, let me know, I'll go say hi too.

I was thinking this morning that our check-in thread for January first should be called "So we missed the tax write-off" thread.

41 weeks today. Kissing off all hope of the tax write off. After herbs, dtd, massage, walking, pumping, and acupuncture, I have resigned myself to let nature take its course...at least until next thursday when I am scheduled for an induction

Girls you need to start thinking positively! By going to Jan, that is your focus. Focus on December!
