So I've got this huge unfinished IKEA wardrobe in my living room for our coats and whatnot and it's driving me crazy. I really want to finish it with a nice wood stain, but I have vowed to keep our home green and don't want to buy minwax or something. The rest of our furniture is antique and rather asian themed (a lot of black lacquer and dark finishes). Where can I find a good soy-based or non-toxic wood stain? I've done a little research online, but all the soy-based brands I've found still have VOCs.
