Well, I'm pretty sure this is the end... I've been bleeding for the past two days, and when I woke up this morning, there was more blood. I haven't had any pregnancy symptoms for days-- no morning sickness, no more sore breasts, my sense of smell is back to normal, etc. My breasts, which had been increasing in size almost daily, seem to have gone back to their normal size. My abdomen is no longer hard. Light cramping going on in my uterus.
Most importantly, my gut is telling me I'm no longer pregnant. I just "knew" when I was pregnant, before I even tested. And in the same way, I now "know" I'm not. I just feel kind of... empty. It's hard to explain. I'll know for sure after an ultrasound this upcoming week, but I'm not really hoping for good news any more.
I'll update this thread after I get the "official" news, but for now I'll be taking a break from the Aug 2008 DDC. I wish you mamas all the best, and I was glad I got to know you, however brief it may have been. Who knows, maybe I'll be back in another DDC soon...
