Still here waiting for baby...Happy EDD Starry_mama! Mine was yesterday. I am VERY uncomfortable but nothing productive has begun. We actually got outside to walk for about 45 minutes yesterday since our winter weather was pretty mild and it felt good to get some exercise and fresh air. I've just been hanging out relaxing -- kids are home from school, dh is home -- this would be a great time for baby to arrive but he/she will arrive when they are ready. Who else is here??

another holiday weekend, THIS would be a good time for our baby to finally be born... but i'm trying not to get my hopes up!

Stellimamo's last post on the check-in thread for yesterday sounded really, really labor-ish. Stellimamo, what's up? If you don't post, I'm going to assume you're giving birth! ELV in any event.

40+2 and nothing, here.

No baby. 41 weeks today. I labored all night w/ ctx 6-15 mins apart and super intense. They all stopped this morning at 7. I'm exhausted since this is the 3d night I've been up. My MW is coming over to help my cervix forward because she thinks thats part of my weird labor pattern and the intense pain I'm feeling on the front of my pubic bone during ctx. Wish me luck.

My water just broke! Feeling crampy, but nothing super painful yet. Hopefully this baby will get going, I cannot have a repeat of my boys' births.

41 weeks today. Midwife is coming tomorrow for a home visit, and Hubby has been talking about letting her do a sweep--I am wavering back and forth. It sounds really appealing when I wake up in excruciating pubic/sacral pain at night. So sleeping has become a joke--I. Look. HAGGARD. Seriously, Ladies, my under-eye black circles have black circles. I am looking forwards to the sleep-deprivation that comes with the care of a newborn--it is lack of sleep with a purpose.

Then again the thought of anyone's fingers or hands (besides mine or Hubby's) near my vulva or in my vagina truely makes me feel like like puking :Puke

aw, well i hope the visit goes well! my DH asked me about having my midwife sweep the membranes, but i haven't asked her to do that yet. i haven't had any vaginal exams this pregnancy and it's been really nice. i don't really want to start now with people's fingers poking around inside me. but if i make it to my 42 week appt, i just might ask her.

Hi Mamas,

I am still hanging in here too. My mom got her flight extended until the 2nd of January. I feel bad because my mom won't have a chance to spend time with the baby,like we had hoped when she came into town on the 17th.
I have been hiking hills in the rain everyday, but that doesn't seem to stimulate anything, all I get is a dull backache. I didn't have to deal with this last time and it is really frustrating especailly in our circumstace.
We do have neighbors who have offered to help with Dd when my mom has to leave. But I really truly Hope my mom gets the chance to at least meet the baby we have been waiting for. Please send me good thoughts and labor vibes.

My milk came in and I look like a porn star (Except for they weigh like 10 lbs each)

He is very excited. but he thinks its not fair that this happens to them when we arent allowed to have sex.
