Where is everyone?

Everyone is quiet today, I'm getting bored!

How's your baby girl doing, wifeandmommy??

Mine is sleeping, cause that's what she does all day!

I'm cleaning house. Catching up laundry, scrubbed the sinks, bleached the laundry baskets. Now, I'm organizing toys. How many toys does a 2 yo need?

Everyone is snuggling with their sweet wee bairns!

I figured that towards the end of the month, things would slow waaaaaaaay down. I lurked a lot at previous months DDC's and every single one slowed down the last week of the month. With how "addicted" to the internet and MDC, I knew that I'd still be around even after Baby was born. Heh, now it looks like I'll be one of the last ones with babe in womb for our month.

So, : here I am, and I usually check in/refresh 123461846518364083465 times a day (can you say, obsess much?!)

This thread explains the main reason for my unusual silence of late, but also my posting has slowed because I'm just not great at naking yet. hopefully the skilz will return eventually....or else she'll stop nursing constantly, lol.

also, dh is still on vacation--one more week--so we've been enjoying a lot of family time. it's been really nice, but gosh I'm gonna miss him when he goes back to work! I really need to use this week to practice nursing in the sling. I nursed ds1 in the sling a lot, but for some reason never got the hang of it with the other two. But if I don't get it figured out this time, we will be living in absolute squalor the minute dh returns to work!

I miss the chatting, but I'm still reading every post! :

Well baby must have gotten used to my insomniac schedule in utero, because she mimics it now that she's Earthside. And wakes dd up in the process, so we're up all night again (and I'd gotten it to where I was sleeping pretty dang normally again!). : I walk around in a constant daze now. And since he sleeps all day, DH is really of no help right now. I think we're past the 3 week growth spurt...maybe this means I can get 3 weeks of semi-nice sleep before the six week spurt hits?

Yep, that pretty much sums it up- but for Reese we'd have to add in a few random shrieks and lots of farting. That girl is the gassiest little baby I've ever seen (and I even have been giving her gripe water before bed each night!).

: Still trying to do the sleep when baby sleeps thing, and can only comfortably nurse side-lying (my crotch waited to break until after he was born! ), which makes naking impossible. Then, when I do get some internet time, I usually spend it adding baby after baby to the announcements thread

tired! We are trying to figure out where everyone needs to sleep to get a good nights sleep.

They are making me wake up every 2 hours to nurse : and I really hate it. She isnt waking up!!!!! Why should I?! lol

I am so excited to have 3 kids right now. I was terrified. Now I am thinking about when we will add the 4th.

I've looked at Kaleb a couple times at night and he is too. I wish I had the energy to stay awake and stare at him, but he's so quite and content (for now haha!) that I look, latch, and pass out.

I have been very busy trying to stay sane amidst my household chaos.

Thankfully my husband is very helpful in that area.

I'm going to be completely alone with my toddler & newborn tomorrow for the very first time. Strangely enough I'm totally looking forward to it. I think it'll be my most relaxing day since birth!

I expect to even have the ability to go on a posting rampage & get caught up with you all!

We've been busy trying to adjust to baby being earthside. Plus my mom, step dad and 2 sisters are visiting for the holidays. Hadn;t seen them in 3 and a half years. Its been nice having them out, but I have spent time hidden away in my room with Anthony.
