hello. i was hoping someone here could help me. i'm 19 weeks pregnant with my second, and i have had a few instances in the last 4 weeks of BH contrax that got pretty regular (~5 minutes apart), and were a bit more uncomfortable than i'd like. i have a history of BH contrax with my first (had them ALL throughout the pregnancy, and they also got regular a few times, but never did a thing to my cervix). since these were a bit stronger, i checked my cervix a few days after the first round, and absolutely no change (high, firm, closed. i've used NFP for years and years, so i'm an ace at finding my cervix).
i just checked again yesterday after 2 more rounds of semi-regular contrax, and my cervix feels soft, just like when i'm ovulating. is this ok, or should i see my OB? baby is moving wonderfully, but i do have a bit of increased discharge (mucousy). i haven't had any contrax in a few days (well, not the regular ones, i probably have 10 - 15 a day on a typical day but i'm not counting those).
should i be seen? should i be worried?
