We use an extra bedroom for a playroom and I would like to decorate it but I'll be honest, I don't even know where to start. I would like to incorporate countries around the world and the different animals that live. Maybe designate certain areas of the room as a country or continent and focus the animals that live there? I would also like to have something on the walls that resembles the different continents and a soft color on the walls.

, here they have some listed for $.02!) and cut out maps and frame them in plain white document frames from the Everything's $1 store, and put those all around the room, maybe interspersed with framed photographs of animals from those regions (maybe try finding a bunch of used nature magazines, or a book on animal photography?). Then I'd paint a big yellow sun on the ceiling, and maybe make mobiles or dioramas of animal habitats/food choices out of laminated pictures, or miniatures from the craft store, or felted wool, or printable shrinky dinks (!) and hang them around in the different regions (in the case of mobiles) or set them up on small painted white wooden shelves hung on the wall (in the case of dioramas).
