Does anyone know where to find this and other stats on twin birth?

I am not sure where you would be able to get that information but I can imagine that it would be huge. I mean singleton c/s rates are at about 30%. If I had to guess, I would imagine it is 60-70% or even more.

It really does vary depending on where you live, the providers, etc.. Here is an unofficial poll of just the MDC moms who've had twins. Even on a site that has waaaay more homebirthers, the C/S rate is still about 50%.

Yikes! And this site does have a lot of people the do homebirths and UC's! I was thinking that might be what it is in hospital but now seeing that I would expect the twins C/S rate to be much higher than 60 or 70%. Sad

A CNM friend of mine (in Australia) works in a hospital that does a lot of multiple births. She saw ONE vaginal birth of twins in 3 months. She does postpartum and breastfeeding help because she can't stand to help at the unnecessary C-sections
