Last night's Radiohead concert......

Last night we saw Radiohead in Columbia, MD. It was my 3rd Radiohead show, dh's 4th, and dd's 1st! The first two shows I saw were awesome, but last night's just blew me away. Dh's boss got us tickets, and we had great seats--22nd row under the pavilion! Since dd was with us, dh and I took turns going down to the seats. Dh made me stay down there for most of the show because he'd seen them up-close before. I was just completely blown away. Dd had the time of her life. She danced and talked to people. We all hung out together on the lawn for the last 5 or so songs, so we got to enjoy some of it together. The crowd was great, very laid back. Some guy even gave dd a cool Radiohead sticker. It was just sooooo awesome. Thom was totally interacting with the crowd and smiling. Anyway, if any of you get a chance, you should check them out while they're touring here in the States. Their show is definately the best I've seen, and I've been to lots and lots of shows!

I am so so jealous!!! They aren't coming close enough to Portland this tour, or I'd take dh and go. He LOVES Radiohead.

Oooohhhhhhhh I just saw them last weekend!
They were amazing!! It was my and dh's 4th Radio Head and DS's 1st! DS (he's 4) was so excited and right there screaming and singing..... It was an open stadium so we were in the grass not too far from the stage (not as close as we would have been without DS, though, but so worth it) and the sound was great!
On the 2nd encore, they came out with "karma police" and Mike Stipes from REM was singing with them!!! Oh it was sooo good

I agree BTW, the crowd for some reason was great and Thom was so "friendly"...

OOOOHHHHHHH I am so jealous!! I really wanted to go to the Vancouver concert but dh's work schedule wouldn't allow for it I was actually hoping to see REM the day before too and since the concerts were out doors I wanted to bring my ds to his first concerts.

Oh well, next time...

Astrid, too bad you couldn't make it. It was a good deal to see both shows, but unfortunately we couldn't make it to REM on Friday.
Let's go together next time, OK?

That's cool that you got to see Michael Stipes perform a song with them! When I saw them at the Tibetan Freedom Concert five years ago, he did a song with them. I believe it was "Lucky". It was pretty awesome!

Definitely (My ds is 4 too, he would have loved to have gone)
