Why am I always feeling cold? Is this a post partum thing? I am covered up with a sheet and big blanket and still feel chilly and its 76 in here. Everyone else in the house is hot. I don't have a temperature but have felt like this for days now.
Yes, it's very normal. I am ALWAYS freezing now. Always. The first few days postpartum I got chills too if I even got out of bed to pee. I think it's from fluid/blood volume reduction.
I was incredibly hot the entire pregnancy and now I'm always freezing, too! I hate it. I went from wearing tank tops to wearing a hoodie with a t-shirt underneath. Hopefully it regulates itself soon!
This has been a problem for me as well. I just can't seem to regulate my body temperature as of late. That and being mostly topless a lot of the time doesn't help much .
Yep, I had it too, at around 10 days PP. I got chills mostly in the evenings for a few days, even to the point of my teeth chattering! Things got back to normal pretty quickly though.
yeah i was one endless hot & cold flash for like 2+ weeks. I'm 4w pp now and STILL get flashes a few times a day. it's like being in shock or something. It's normal I guess but it doesn't make sense. How are we supposed to keep baby's temp regulated if we're responding to imaginary temp changes?
this happens to me too PP. even last time in late august when it was still 90+ degrees, i would just shake! I think our bodies get so used to having that little internal heater (baby) and all that extra fluid and then boom its gone!
