Thanks for your concern! I've done quite a bit of research on the subject, though, and feel very comfortable with RRL throughout pregnancy. I'm working on my degree in holistic health, and have spent the past year studying herbology - also I've asked the opinion of my dr (who is a chiropractor, and uses herbs quite regularly) I let him know I was thinking about taking up to an ounce of RRL/day, and he said he didn't see a problem with that for me. He says he regularly uses RRL in the first trimester to deal with nausea. FWIW, I haven't noticed any spotting at all, or I'd probably cut back. It is my opinion that RRL is a tonic herb - that it doesn't seem to cause adverse effects in most people.
I've noticed that today is the first day that I've expereinced any nausea - and I haven't had my infusion in a few days... Could be a coincidence, but if there is anything I can do to avoid the intense nausea I had last time, I'll do it! |
i just though because its used to tone and strengthen the uterus that it might not be safe or actually may be it because the one i had said not to use it before a certain stage if you had a previous c section so i just assumed you couldn't take it during the first trimester.Hope the morning sickness keeps away im the other end i wish i had more so i could relax a little even if i feel crap i know im mad
