Actually, old stuff that I finished right before I had my baby and only now got around to posting. You all understand, I'm sure.

Beginner and Advanced Class projects: http://kimberlychapman.com/crafts/ceramics.html

Ceramic Klein Bottles: http://kimberlychapman.com/crafts/ce...ickleinbottles

Enjoy the nerdiness!

Those are neat. I'd never heard of a Klein Bottle before.

I especially love the Bag End Teapot.

My current thing is tree chalices, though only the one has been completed so far. I need to learn how to throw pots on the wheel so I can make them less chunky. So far, there's only so much thinning I can do freehand--basic pinchpot technique.

Don't be afraid of glazes. When they don't quite do as you expect, that's part of the adventure--says the woman whose mossy tree (browns with some green) came out all green with small bits of brown, a very very mossy tree indeed! And yet, beautiful for all that.

I'd be less afraid if I had more time to do stuff...since I'm working with molds, if I screw up a glaze job it'd be okay if I could just make another one and try again. But since I'm so limited on time, I'm more nervous about screwing up what's currently a one of a kind!

I hear you.

At some point, you'll be ready to just go for it.

I've had some pieces turn out different from what I expected, but have learned to see the beauty in how they turned out. Or, at the very least since I make stuff I can use, they're useful regardless of how the glaze turns out. Someone will like them.... if I opt to sell.

I love the Lady of the Lake box. Is the anachronistic thing
