For anyone that is new and would be interested in a bookmarking site that some of us here use, you can check out www.onlywire.com

here is the directions to making it work, this will bring up your page views!

Directions
1. Go to Onlywire.com
2. Click "Start Using It Now"
3. Fill out account info.
4. Go through each of the bookmarking sites listed on the left column and enroll in each one. Be sure to check your email as many require you to confim via email. If some sites are down, just skip them.
5. At the top of the Onlywire page, you will see a green box with "Bookmark Tools" in the title. Click on "Need Help."
6. On-line visusal tutorial shows you how to right click and add to favorites in the links folder. Choose which "Save page" feature you like (I chose with frames- fr, though not sure of the difference).
7. Go to AC and open up the article you want to bookmark.
8. Click on favorites, go to links folder, and open up the "Save Page" tool that you just saved there.
9. A rectangular box should open up at the top of the screen. Add your info. Separate tags with a space, include a description of your article.
10. Click bookmark page.

That's all I have been doing. I assume you only need to bookmark it once. Is that right?

Hi all!

Just a heads up that I am reorganizing my favorites. So, if you notice that you've been deleted, don't take it personally. I'm adding everyone back in slowly but surely. Also, if I've un-subbed to you, again, please don't take it personally. I just can't handle all the emails, and am going back to one day of commenting a week through my favorites!

I continue to do well at AC, with a total acceptance rate of about 90-95%. I have done quite a few C4Cs lately, and that's helped my avg pv per article quite a bit.

Hope you are all doing well!

Speaking of catching up on emails from AC, I should be donig that today.

I had completely forgotten that I had them set to go into a folder and bypass the inbox, so I've gotta catch up on that.

If there is anyone that I'm not subscribed to, please send me your link.

Erika - I need to send my AC emails to a folder too. They take over my inbox every day.

I made it to a level 8 yesterday! That was my goal for January. I won't be doing much on AC for a bit, but I'll be back to writing for them again in a month or two.

What does everyone think about the AC forum post saying they will no longer pay for non-exclusives? I know they took it back and will pay for them again, but it has to be coming soon that they won't. I do submit most of my articles as exclusive anyway, but really, as I read through the thread, I can see where that is not the best idea. I'm getting more and more uncomfortable with giving them exclusive rights forever. My attitude is usually to not give them my best effort anyway. I haven't for some time. I use AC to earn extra cash by writing some quick articles. So, I guess I'm on both sides of the issues.

I don't normally use the non exclusive way. So it really wouldn't be that big of a deal for me.

Hmm. I didn't see that. Off to look at the forums.

I have been working on a few pieces that will be submitted non-exclusive because I have a couple of websites in the works that I will post them to. I don't think it will make much sense for me to submit them at all if I am not going to get that little bit of upfront cash.

I thought with non exclusive there was no upfront payment?

No, I have submitted one as non-exclusive and received $5.02 upfront. I've only submitted 4 for upfront payment and the other 3 I submitted as exclusive.

There is for now, but that is the change that they posted about in the forums. I'm guessing that soon there won't be upfront payment for non-exclusive. You'd still get paid for page views, of course.

Does anyone really get enough from page views to make it worthwhile?

Twocoolboys, will you change your username?

Yeah, I'm going to change it. I'm trying to think of something witty and clever, but so far no luck - lol.

I make a bit from pageviews!

My article was offered $4.16, so I accepted it. What is the norm with upfront payment?

I have a few things to submit later today after I edit. I haven't submitted anything in like a month I am going to have to crank them out to meet my goal now. (I have a million things going on though right now!) how's everyone doing???

This is my third article that I've had accepted through AC, but the first one I've done upfront payment for. Do they normally always accept an article for upfront payment?
