something new has seemed to happen today though. DS who is 3 still nurses occasionally. and usually, it would take 30+ minutes for me to feel any contractions with him nursing. this morning he crawled into my bed to nurse, and literally, within 1 minute, i was contracting HARD. and they kept going for quite awhile. some of which i truly had to breathe through. during the last 2.5 weeks of prodromal labor i've not felt anything even remotely close to that. so, is this a sign that my body is nearer to labor? i remember reading that certain hormone changes that precede labor make the body more sensetive to oxytocin. anyone have any insight? just looking for that little thread of hope to hold on to ![]() i'm actually really ok with having a janurary baby at this point. though, i cant see myself joining a new DDC. i like it here ![]() |

Draeksley's 12 days old & I'm home alone with him & his 25 mo brother for the first time today. I am actually enjoying the quiet very much after 2 weeks of crazy loud chaos & zillions of family members. And my 25 mo hasn't had ONE single temper tantrum yet today.
Shocking I tell ya.
