Are there BF freebie bags??

Does anyone make pro-breastfeeding freebie bags for hospitals?

I'd be very interested in getting something like this started in my area, if they don't already exist here.

Ideas?

When I had dd1 the hospital gave out diaper bags when you left. They had formula ones and breastfeeding ones. The formula ones obviously came with formula. THe breastfeeding ones did not, but i can't remember what was in it.

You could make some. At the OB's office I went to for labs they asked me if I was breastfeeding and I told them "without a doubt". They tried to give me a "Similac Breastfeeding Bag" and it honked me off to no end. It had formula samples in it. I gave it back and told them exactly WHY it was offensive.

It would have been sweet to get a little reusable sac (I don't know that a diaper bag is really necessary, maybe wrap in a recieving blanket instead?) with soothies or lansinoh samples and a copy of "So thats what theyre for" or a LLL book with a LLL meeting schedule/contact info.. fact sheet.. maybe a copy of breastfeeding-related laws. I think the best way to go about it would be to contact a company that manufactures breast pumps and seeing if they would sponsor it in exchange for pump advertising on the blanket/sack/etc. and brochures inside.

My cousin got a breastfeeding bag from her OB/MW office when she was pregnant, with a little ice pack/lunch box thing for storing milk, nursing pads, a few other helpful items. Nothing with formula in it.

I got the formula coupons and a pamphlet on cord blood banking -.-
