hypnobirthing, guided breathing

I am working with a few clients who are either using hypnobirthing or are really interested in help with guided breathing, can you direct me to any good resources?

Resources as far as.... ? Hyponobirthing (official) has a good website, and most folks who go that route get matreials to use that they can share with you. It is worth owning the Mongan "Hypnobirthing" book IMO, as this is the most popular program of that sort and other spin-offs of it are very similar.

They can also order the Hypnobabies program for home study from their website: http://www.hypnobabies.com

I used Hypnobirthing with DD2 and while I found it helpful, it definately did not provide complete relaxation and pain relief. I found it very limiting and confusing when it came to using it. While I felt the prep-work was helpful, the CDs were very limited when I was actually in labor. That said, I did have a rather fast and easy labor and never really pushed until the very end... but I have decided to train to be a Hypnobabies instructor because I have come to find that program much, much more complete... there are something like seven CDs with hours of stuff... the Hypnobirthing only had two CDs with less than 2 hours, I think.

: I used hypnobabies and the labor CD is awesome. It was very clear what I was supposed to do and how to do it. I put the script on repeat and instantly had no pain. Next thing I knew I was in the bathroom having a baby! I don't even feel like I did anything sometimes, it was so darn easy.

Hypnobabies has a doula handbook I believe. That would probably be really helpful.
