Look what $10 can get you!

My son is having a pirate themed party for his birthday and I am trying to make as much as possible to keep the costs down. So I got some cardboard boxes from work, a $5 can of Oops paint from Home Depot (that they made brown), and a $5 roll of duct tape. Throw in some odds and ends from around the house and we got a 9 foot pirate boat!

This was totally not my idea (i got it from a website) so I get no creativity credit! I'm just a good copier!!

I thought I would share in case any other kiddos out there are into pirates. You can also make it smaller for indoor play as well. I am using it for 15-20 kids so I made it really big.

Thanks everyone! I was able to make one more so now the kids can have a cannonball fight - they each get a bag of 100 cannonballs that I made and the object is to sink the others boat by getting as many of them in the boat as possible.

The party is tomorrow - I think i am more excited than my son is. I had soooooo much fun planning and making a lot of the stuff for the party and decorating. I am kind of sad that it is almost over. And my DD wants her party at Chuck E Cheese - not much I can make for that one!
