So I spoke with the professor, who said she wasn't going to change her policy and that it sucks but that's that
What the heck?! I'd seriously take that to whoever's in charge, department head, dean of students, whatever. You are an ADULT, and you are paying money for this woman to teach you-- not to treat you like a recalcitrant six year old. A grade point for missing each class? I'd tell her to **** herself in a hurry. That's a ridiculous policy for a college professor to have. Good grief.

Updates indeed-- I'm in early labor.
We have plenty of time, but I'll probably have a new baby around here by Saturday afternoon; certainly no later. I'm just sitting around contracting and moaning and pooping and all the other glorious things. We definately have time unless something happens, but it's just as definately the real deal.
I'm so bummed.
