I've been trying to tell him since August that he needs to get out of the bloody house during the day. Just get OUT. I don't care what he does (although ideally he'll get a freaking job), just get OUT. I can't do anything, can't get the kids to cooperate when he's here all bloody day arguing with me and sitting on his butt in front of the computer. It's like living with an anvil that sucks all the heat and energy right out of me. It's four now, and I'm feeling tired and demoralized, but I'll grab a bloody stepstool and wash a pot and make some pasta for the kids. And mike and the kids are *all* getting up before I go to my doctor's appointments tomorrow, whether they like it or not. If I have to be his mother too, so flippin' be it. He'll go on the schedule just like the kids. :
OMG Rynna!!! I have the.exact.same.DH!!! He just happens to have a different name... OMG! I totally know what you're going through, mama!!! I'm so sorry! You deserve so much better than this... We both do. But I'm lucky b/c DH will be going away for a few months when he gets it paid for... It cannot be soon enough though!

What about local resources? HEAP? Catholic charities? You can totally feed a family on $20 assuming you have a few basics like salt, pepper, seasonings Beans, rice and corn tortilla's are staples around here Have you checked out the Hill Billy House Wife site? Lots of great info there!s

www.hillbillyhousewife.com has GREAT ideas for eating on $45 a week. I know it's more than you have but you might be able to get a few ideas from there to start you out. And maybe supplement with a food pantry run???Maybe you already have stuff in your pantry at home that you can stretch for a few meals??? Whenever we get low on food it's rice and beans and oatmeal for us! Oh yeah and pancakes!!!!! Flour, eggs, milk. WIC stuff plus a $2 bag of flour.

Thanks for all the good vibes and "stay in" vibes for big bird ladies! I am still losing big globs of mucus(ick!) and still horribly crampy. But it doesn't seem to be getting much worse and I don't have to work tomrorow and I see the midwife at 2pm. So hopefully she can give me good news. Not that I wouldn't love to meet this little one now but she does need to bake a little more. I don't like underbaked kiddos coming out. So it's back to my post on the couch knitting for this little girl who seems determined to visit her mama soon. It really kicked my tush into high gear. I will post a pic of the longies and hat I just finished today a little later!

That is the funniest thing I've ever heard. How does one exactly bust an implant though?

: Oh gosh, that's hilarious.

I have 9-12 month girl's winter clothing. What I don't think I have is shipping money (have to see what's in the gas tank and what's up with the electric bill), but I can get that stuff into a box ASAP. Send a pm, so I can label it and know where it's going.

I didn't get the specifics on exactly how she became uni, i was just trying to make it through the phone call with hysterical laughter. Of course Uni's reconstructive surgery will have to cut into child support

Oh and I will be cleaning closets and shoes out, I will have a good amount of boy and girl shoes, I will post sizes tommorow

Oh heck no it won't. What kind of judge would allow that? my sister's ex went to the judge and asked to have his child support payment reduced because he wanted to buy a car. They laughed his behind right out of court.

So in the search for 9-12 mo winter clothes I discovered size 5 jeans which fit a skinny minny girl and a few size 5 winter clothes, not much but probably enough to fill a priority box. Also found several 5T blanket sleepers, still in good condition BUT dd likes to live in them so they may have ink marks or other issues but if your just looking for warm and the fabric is in good condition (ie no holes or thinning) then they will do fine I need to get them out of here as she fits a 7 now and the 5's are killing her toes but at $12 a pop now she's only got 1 blanket sleeper and thats out of my budget. I can not pay for shipping but I do have lots of priority boxes

I know were kinda in the same boat but if you could find a postage fairy I know I have a 6-12 mo pink fleece bunting thing, and I just went though dd's clothes that I know don't fit anymore, a few 6-12 mo, mostly 9-12 mo stuff thats warm. Anyway, I can stuff a flat rate box full, ok maybe a regular large priority box as there's quite a bit here A few posts up a mama's offered to be a postage fairy, pm her!

Then they are yours I think there's like 5 of them, I need to do laundry as most are at the bottom of the laundry basket. I'm planning on doing laundry Friday/Saturday but I'll dig around tomorrow and see what all I can find just to get a count.
