How are you doing Erin? Hanging in? I had a huge cry and ate an entire box of chocolates a little while ago. I'm having some contractions now and I'm trying really hard not to get excited. *sigh*

I'm hanging in there. I think my contractions are starting for the night. I slept a majority of the day so I would be well rested if he decides to come tonight. I had more bloody show too.
I just had a "I-want-my-baby-in-my-arms-right-now-cry". I felt good.
MMM I wish I had chocolates. I'm thinking about making some brownies to help with the chocolate craving.

I hope those contractions are it for you! :

My DH bought me a box of chocolates today. I think we were supposed to share them after the kids went to bed, but, well, they are all gone now. :

Dh actually went out and got dinner. After he got home I decided I wanted a chocolate mousse cake but he said the roads were yucky and he wasn't going out for frivolity.

Oooh hey Tanya! Nice to see you 'round these parts!

I wish I had something to report to you, but nope! A little contraction here, a little mucous there, but nothing to make me think that anything's really going on.

Thanks for stalking me! I feel all special.

Having contractions is no fun when everyone else is asleep so...here I am They feel productive but they are not more than 8 minutes apart at best so I am just trying to wait awhile. I am sleepy but lying down is NOT good. Thought I'd jump in to say hi to the mamas here. Anyone else up??

Hi ladies! I've never posted in this group before, but I decided to come over here so that I can get and give support to those of you going through the same thing!

I was due Dec. 29th, so I'm 40 weeks, 4 days here. I'm not surprised or stressing about it because my other two went past 40 weeks (DS#1 was born 40 weeks, 6 days and DS#2 was born at 41 weeks, 2 days), but the waiting around, wondering when it's gonna happen is kinda starting to get to me. Plus, it doesn't help that my mom calls me every two days. :

But, I am also hoping that my baby will hold out for a few more days since I am battling at cold that I came down with 3 days ago! Just the thought of going into labor when I'm sick is terrifying to me!!! I'm having a homebirth and I need all the strength I can get!!!

Anyway, just wanted to say hi!

Heather

Thanks Steph! Everyone does seem really great here!! I love hanging out with others who are into natural childbirth and who don't freak out when they go beyond their due-dates. The women who are on the other message board I go to tend to get really impatient and end up with inductions and/or c-sections when they go past their due-dates. And in the meantime, while I am getting a little impatient, I'm also happy to wait because I know that he'll come out when he's ready! Plus, since I am sick with a cold, I could use a few extra days to get better and gain my strength back!!
