Collin, who just hit 3 months, is now 16+ lbs. I have to set aside clothes each week that no longer fit him.
He is now squealing
with delight, primarily at physical things, like when DH bounces him on the mattress after his massage. (He even fussed in his massage last night because DH toned down his antics in effort to make it a more relaxing experience. As soon as DH did a little of the mattress-bouncing, DS was squealing in laughter. SO cute to watch the two of them interact.)
He is also babbling
and just "found his lungs" yesterday as he inserted screeching
into his babbles and coos.
We're still working on a bedtime routine
. He can go to sleep anytime after 7:30 and be down for the night (until 4am or so). But, he can also go down at 8pm and be up again 45 minutes later and stay up until 1am. He FIGHTS sleep.
DH says he's just a typical male, that men, when they live alone, won't go to bed until they fall asleep. DH says that men feel like sleep is "doing nothing." When I pointed out that he's just watching TV and not doing anything, DH says that it's still something.
He has cradle cap
, is loosing his soft, curly hair, and is breaking out in what may be eczema
. I've posted about that in Life with a Babe - http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=825218
- if anyone wants to give advice to me. I've been sort of dairy free
since 2 weeks, but I may be going full-throttle with label-checking and eating nothing but chicken and rice...
Take care, everyone, and enjoy your babes!
