Queer TTC January 2008! - Page 12

Got my crosshairs today--things look good so far!
Hi everyone -

Just started my period, so it looks like I can be taken off the waiting to be ready list and on to waiting to O. *thanks!*

It feels a bit surreal to be back in the saddle again! All I have to do is get my bloodwork to the lab at the clinic, and we're all set! I'm hoping against hope that this time it doesn't take as long as last time (which was the better part of two years!). But it seems like having Oliver has made my cycle more regular... and we have our fancy new OvaCue fertility monitor... so we'll see!

pranava - hoping you get to see your bfp very soon!!!!

Timing looks good Frog! :

Thanks Tash, and good beginners luck to you too. It's so fun and exciting that first month.

My temp is up again this morning : That's never happened this late in the luteal phase for me. I'm still a little sick this morning, but not like yesterday. Breasts are more sore today than yesterday. I'm off to the store to get some HPT's. I'll update this afternoon.

Oh, Pranava, I'm : for your BFP!!!

On a funny note, I always think it says "finger sex" when I type out the code for that finger crossing smiley :

I still am not a chart expert but will join in enthusiastic cheers for you frog! :

knit_grrly, welcome along for the ride. We have just started but are very excited. I'm trying to enjoy the excitement and not worry too much.

Have a great and fertile day all!

Pranava...your chart looks REALLY good!!! Keep us posted!!!

And...can someone please look at my chart and tell me what you think???? I've read a lot about implantation dip...some say it's a myth. But...I've been charting for months and I NEVER dip like that. Plus...7 DPO!!! hhhmmm....I am cautiously optomistic.
Smartycat, I always thought that looked like "fingersex" too! Glad I'm not the only one.

JennM - if your temp jumps back up tomorrow, I'd say that's a very good sign!!! :

Well, BFN but still no AF and naseau continues. Uh, the agony!! Does anyone know if saving first morning urine in a cup for 4 hours while waiting for DW to wake up would have any effect on the accuracy of the hpt? I'm still not giving up. There is no sign that af will be here today. And hopefully my temp will not drop tomorrow morning.

I got a BFN on day 13 then got a BFP on day 14, so I definitely wouldn't be losing hope if I were you. Your chart looks AMAZING and your symptoms sounds spot on.

Good luck! You really deserve it so I really hope the fertility goddess (whoever that might be?!) does the right thing by you!

Jen - I noticed an implantation dip during both the cycles that I got pregnant (one miscarried and the other is still going as we speak). They were both very definite - though not quite as pronounced as yours! I can't remember if the temp stayed down one or two days, but if yours goes back up tomorrow or the next day then it'd seem that it looks pretty good!

KK That's so reassuring to know you didn't get a BFP till 14dpo. That may still be 2 days away for me since I can't really tell what day I o'ed.

Enough about me, I haven't seen you posting much lately. How are you doing? Everything progressing well?

Pranava- I am so hopeful! Your chart looks amazing. :

Frog- Congrats on the insem and crosshairs! Come on swimmers, let's make some tadpoles...

KK- It's great to hear from you! Come join us in the Queer and Pregnant thread, if you feel like it.

All's well on this side of the fence. I'm at 11 weeks, have heard the heartbeat and seen the baby, and am finally feeling confident that this might be a sticker. Thanks, folks, for being such a great, supportive group.

Pranava: I have everything crossed for you. Your chart looks really amazing! :

KK: Nice to see you 'round these parts. Hope your pregnancy is treating you kindly. How old is Ali now? Is she wonderful?

Angela: I wanted to comment on your blog but you don't allow anyone but blogger members to do so....
so, am glad you're blogging again and look forward to reading more!

Such good news Angela! I remember the first time I heard DS' heart over the Doppler. I couldn't stop giggling, I was just so overwhelmed with it all. And I giggled each and every time we heard his heartbeat up until I was about 8 months pregnant. My midwife thought I was insane.

: Our midwife said, and I quote, "If you get pregnant with twins I'll be happier than a pig in shit."

Honestly, we'll be thrilled with one!

I'm trying not to get geeked about every little thing, but I'm pretty much failing. Boobs hurt like crazy, have terrible gas, am fatigued (like, took a four-hour nap on the FLOOR yesterday fatigued) and hyper all at the same time.

<taps foot, looks at calendar>

pranava, I totally think you're preggo, grrl.

I wouldn't worry about it too much Pranava. I actually have heard that some women don't see a + test until a day or so AFTER they have missed AF. I think it all depends on the HCG levels really.

So, I'm really bummed. Yesterday...I had a pretty dramatic dip in temp...at 7DPO...so I'm hopeful for an implantation dip. Several of you suggested that if I go back up today then it's a good sign. Although...not definitive...a good sign. Well...I had a TERRIBLE night of sleep! I have this awful kink in my neck. Plus I was exhaused yesterday and found myself taking a little nap right after dinner so had a hard time going to sleep. Anyway...I didn't sleep well...woke up wicked early and had to pee...and I just don't trust my temp for the day. It did go up...but...who knows. I'll try to get a good nights sleep today and try again in the morning. Figures. :

I've also got an online buddy who's birthed two kids and never had a positive pee stick.

Try not to stress about it too much, Jenn. If you're pregnant, missing a temp isn't going to change it!

Ha! You're right Frog!

Perspective--it's a beautiful thing! Later on when I'm SURE I'm pregnant because I have blue veins in my breasts, you can remind me that I ALWAYS have blue veins in my breasts. Deal?

Pran - : : Your chart looks so great!

Things are good on our end. I'm at 8 dpIUI and I go in to get my progestrone checked today. I don't feel pregnant and I don't have any of the big symptoms so my hopes are not up for this round. Still not charting and that's really helped the strees/emotional levels.

Good luck to everyone in the wait!
