Probably me, but I hope not. I'm technically due 1/28 and I have thought all along he will come late, but now that I possibly have ICP it may be earlier. I'll get my blood test results on Friday and if it indicates ICP we will probably induce next Monday because we are not comfortable going past 37 weeks with ICP. I really hope it's not ICP and I get to go until he decides to get here, though (Superbowl Sunday!)
What's crazy is that 3 my surro friends who were due after me have already delivered! Of course all 3 were carrying twins, but still...

I am totally feeling overwhelmed and slightly freaked out! I have to get cooking and fill my freezer up! We need a carseat, and the only thing that I have for this baby are the goodies I got from my swap buddy!

Yea, it kind of hit me too last night. When ds's friends asked how far along I was he said, "Third trimester--about two weeks." and boy, did they STARE at my huge belly. Finally we figured out that he was NOT confused and what he meant was that if I go into labour in two weeks, the baby will be 36 weeks along and can be birthed at home safely.
Crap, that went fast!
In spite of all my recent complaining, I do NOT want another January baby! January is ds's birth month, March is dd's, and I want this baby to have his//her own birth month even if s/he is born at 12:01 AM on 2/1.
Actually, since my EDD is February 10 and my own birthday is February 9, I've always thought it would be kind of cool to share (I thought the same about Phoenix, who was also due on February 10 but born on January 27) but if that doesn't work out, I'd like to go just a bit over 40 weeks--not enough to worry, but enough to be a new experience.
My house needs to be a lot cleaner, my big kids seem painfully ignorant about the birth process, and I need bendy straws for my birth kit. Once I get the bendy straws, I'll think of something else I need.
I don't feel that sense of wanting to "meet" my baby because we are very well acquainted after sharing a body for this long; whenever I read him/her Oh, Baby, the places you'll go! I always change the line "I can't wait to meet you!" into "I can't wait to see you!" but that's not quite right either, because I have a fairly good sense of what s/he might look like and I don't spend a whole lot of time worrying about how dark his/her skin is going to be, how much hair s/he is going to be born with, whether s/he will have my chin or not, etc.

Wow. I had been thinking more along the lines of feeling overwhelmed about having a baby this YEAR. Thinking about it being next month really makes things feel soon. Of course, my EDD is 2/24, so we could be looking at March (though from the size of my belly, I can't imagine how the baby could possibly continue growing in there for that long! I've outgrown lots of my maternity clothes!)
Well, Happy New Year to everyone!

Dh seems to think the baby will be here between January 15th and the 18th. I am due on 2/2. I am not as sure although he is often really good at seeing what is going on with me when I have my eyes closed to it. He knew I was pregnant a good week before I did.
With ds I just KNEW he would be 2 weeks early (and I was right on the dot, he was born 2 hours into 38 weeks and 1 day) but with this baby I don't have any solid feelings either way. Although I am in my 36th week and I've started to feel a lot less rib pain and a lot more low pressure, my cervix is very soft and low and starting to open, I am having very strong nesting urges to the point that this weekend I have cleaned and organized every room, cabinet and closet, baked and frozen 4 ham and egg pies, 8 cream cheese stuffed chicken breasts, 20 hamburger sandwiches and 20 twice baked potato halves, packed my and ds' emergency hospital bags, and finished ds' first year scrapbook. All that is left is to scrub the 2 flights of stairs, the doors and the cabinets, which I plan on doing tonight when ds goes to bed. Oh, and I want to re-organize the basement laundry room, too.
I am not really sure, I feel like it could be several weeks yet. Or maybe this baby will even be late!

I'm due 2/17-ish, and feel pretty confident that I won't be going in January, or even early February! Despite feeling enormous, this kid is not huge - I don't look nearly as far along as 2 of my friends who are due 3 weeks after me - so I have a feeling this kid will cook until after the EDD....just hoping it's not a Leap Year baby!

37 days until my edd ... and I'm sitting here hoping my kids are all on the mend (horrible gastro-intestinal illness for the past few days - 2 got it , 2 haven't and I hope they don't!!!) so I can get everything done before baby arrives! My midwives come for my home visit sometime within the next week or two and I want to be DONE with collecting homebirth supplies and major cleaning by then and start on stocking my freezer and such.

I do not want to give birth this month. I won't be 37 weeks until early Feb, so I need to hold on until then. But then Feb is a big ol' mine field. MIL birthday is the 16th and her sister is the 9th, so I need to avoid those days, and we don't want a leap year baby, and I don't want a valentines baby. Soooo... perhaps if I say my order loud enough she'll hear and abide, if not, well she'll come when she comes! (but please wait until at least 37 weeks!)

Please, please NOT ME!! I am due the 3rd and really am not feeling ready for this baby to come yet! Where the heck is my nesting urge!?!? I have so much to do and no drive to get it done. I finally got a few meals into my freezer but nowhere the 30 or so I want. My house is a mess, haven't deep cleaned in months, still need chux pads and to order some herbs. Crap, thanks for the reminder, now I'm all stressed about getting ready!

I'm due the 9th of February. I'd really rather not deliver in January, but as long as I make it past the 21st I'll survive. I'm shooting for 1 Feb, though.

Definitely not me!!! I'll be quite happy to have the baby in even February.
It's crazy to think that our group starts hitting 'full term' in just one more week, though!!!

Will you come over to my house Strawberry Fields? Someone needs to do some "nesting" around here, lol!
I was at Hancocks like a month ago buying flannel and the lady at the cutting counter said I must be nesting. Huh, buying fabric equals nesting? If that's so she needs to take a look at my sewing room-it really needs some help!

I had the most intense series of BH contrax tonight when I was out shopping (it's the shopping, right?). I had to lean on a shelf and breathe through them! So I hope I don't go this month, but who knows! My midwives are saying february 8th, but my chart says february 13th. A january birth would be awfully early.
