YES!!!!! There is sooo much to do---I have to keep "training" DH and DD to be a little less reliant on me, organize and clean this whole damned house and put away food in the freezer. I have to finish a project at work too!

this hit me today when i was talking to ezra about when the baby is coming. whoa, that's next month.

i am not really due until feb 29th -march 5th but ez was three weeks early so sometime in feb is my guess. don't think it will be jan. my own birthday is jan 30th. i will be 30 on the 30th this year!

Time has really flown by! I am due 2/2 and wouldn't mind if I had my baby a little early. I have been having terrible problems with my hips that make an aweful grinding sound sometimes. My mw says it will get better when the baby is here. I was a week late with my other two. But then again I didn't know when I ovulated then. I know this time. My dd was given to me by my doc then.

All my friends think that I will be delivering this month. I have a lot of contractions. Some really pretty powerful and I feel pressure on my cervix. We will see. I really can't wait to hold her in my arms though!

I am due around 2/14. Bdd was "late" by 3 days so hopefully we won't be late this time. i would be ok with this baby coming anywhere from 1/28-2/7ish.

I just noticed that the January ddc has had at least 5 babies already!!

I can't believe it, quite frankly!! I mean feasible in one month, (or less!!) there could be babies here! WHOA!!! Where did all this time go??? It's just WHIZZED by!!!!

I was just thinking that this morning as I was hanging our new calendar and marking off weeks 31, 32, 33, etc. Although I'm officially due 3/6, I have a hunch he will make his appearance in February.

So much to do still!

I'm due Feb 8th by my calculations, Feb. 13 by my midwife's, and Feb. 11 by the back-up care CNM's calculations...but since ds1 came at 38 weeks I'm betting on Jan. 30th-Feb. 3. He HAS to wait until I go on maternity leave on Jan. 26th! I do not want to be in labor after working all day!

That's true, I had a very easy first trimester (heck I didn't even know I was pregnant until week 9!). I'm sure it was very different for those of you who were quite sick...

I've theoretically got 6 weeks to go, but I feel it will be closer to 8, so I'm there with you. I'm actually hoping it doesn't go by too quickly, it's very surreal, being pregnant, and I figure I'm going to experience it as fully as I can!

i'm not sure if it's related to nesting, but i am certainly FREAKING OUT about not being prepared.

i SO wish my baby shower had been three weeks ago instead of three weeks from now. we're waiting until after the shower to make our purchases and it's driving me INSANE. i think i've convinced dh that i need to go ahead and buy a few things just to calm myself down. just having a changing table set up with a little stack of prefolds would make me feel soooooooo much better.

I want to savour whatever's left of what is probably my last pregnancy. i can't believe 35 weeks have already flown by just like that... and I DO NOT want a January baby. I'm hoping baby#3 makes it just past Chinese New Year to be born in Year of Rat like me. So I'm gunning for Feb 8 as this Bean's birthday.

Mind you, my previous two kids were born early, so I don't know if this one will set a precedent by being late. EDD guessed to be Feb 4, though I only had two irregular post-partum AFs before conceiving...

With ds, I did have a strong sense that he would be a bit early. He was born on the day I turned 39 weeks.
With this one, I know that technically it is more likely to go a little earlier with subsequent babies, but I have no such gut feeling about this one. I don't really see myself going late, but I am due on 2/14, and I just keep thinking of the week before that or that week maybe. I don't really know...acutally, I just don't have a strong feeling either way.

I think part of it is that this will be DS's first sibling, and I will have 2 kids for the first time. As much as I am starting to intensely crave holding and kissing this baby, I am also enjoying every last day with ds and am not quite ready emotionally to say goodbye to our 1-on-1 time together. What an emotional journey!!!

And, could strawberryfields please come over to my house and start cooking?

I keep telling myself I will be ready by the end of January. That is when i'll be close to 37 weeks. That is the deadline i'm giving myself to have things in place. I have a feeling that she might come early, but DH tells me that she's a Daddy's girl so she will be late. My DH is one of those people you need to tell to be there 30 minutes before everyone else, so he will actually be on time. LOL.

Funny I want the Golden Pig, but alas, I think I will have a rat, which is okay too since I'm a snake, we're all compatible and stuff.

I feel the same! I thought the first trimester would never end. I wasn't sick, but I was just so anxious! The 2nd went quicker and now I hope the same happens for January, because this baby isn't allowed to come until at least superbowl weekend.

I was sure that BooBah would be later than Bean. She was, but not nearly as late as I'd expected (not that I went into labor or anything).

She has to stop at my place, first.

Well I can assure you there was NO COOKING going on today in my house! I had 6 kids here today for my (informal) daycare: a 4 month old, 8 month old twins, a 14 month old, my own 2 year old, and a 2.5 year old. And the 2.5 year old is sick, one of the 8 month olds has an ear infection, and the 14 month old is teething molars. : Somebody shoot me! Who in their right mind agrees to babysit 6 under 3 with 3 sick and teething ones when they are 36 weeks pregnant? In all honesty it wasn't that bad--thank goodness for easy going babies--but now that everyone is gone and my own little one is tucked into bed I am SORE and TIRED! I have 3 kids tomorrow so it is going to feel like a vacation!!

Now, off to find a good freezer recipe that will utilize the last of the apples from our apple picking back in the fall!
