Co-Sleeping weirdness

Co-sleeping was fine before, with the other babies. This time I wake up in a panic, gasping even, trying to find her. It's not like she's far away either, she's usually in my armpit.

I just don't understand it. Does anyone have a clue why I would be so nervous about this?

I don't have an answer but I am having a similar problem. I wake up freaking out that I sufficated her or she is trapped etc... I co slept with ds fine only sometimes did I freak out. I don't know what to do! When she is sleeping I will jump up and scoop her up thinking she is not breathing.

I'm using the mini co-sleeper more this time because I feel the same way. I am so much more relaxed with him in it, and me right there still.

I did that too- mostly in the first week. I think it fades over time. And Toren is totally an armpit sleeper as well- either my armpit or Daddy's! (mostly mine )

Us poor mamas! huh, we just worry endlessly!

ldsmama, that is exactly what I'm doing. I'm thinking she stopped breathing at some point. And just freaking out! ugh! My armpits aren't that stinky, I don't think.

Mom2JandG I can't put her in sleeper. She tries to escape it and grunts and squirms like crazy! I swear she was half hanging out of her nest the other night! My dh thought I had moved her or something. I really wish she would sleep in hers, I would feel so much better, I bet!

Serenity, any pit will do for her! She just loves it there!

I'm that way this time, too, but it's because she gasps and chokes on her spit up and I'm afraid she'll aspirate some in her sleep. Normally I have on sleeping tummy to tummy on me because that way I can feel if she starts gasping.
