Okay, here's my summary of the week's decluttering copied from my blog. I haven't done anything major yet, but we're making progress nonetheless! I was going to say more about the Barbie-like doll that I really just want to donate, but I'm not sure if my aunt (gift giver) reads my blog or not, so. . .

TRASHED:
1 skeleton decoration
1 piece of macaroni artwork
1 old bag of marshmallows
1 set of accessories to Barbie-type doll (How do they expect anyone to be able to put those teeny tiny things on the doll?)
1 parachute man toy
1 pair holey socks
1 broken toy train
RECYCLED:
1 gift bag
1 cardboard wreath (art)
3 garbage bags of bottles/cans left mainly from Henry's classroom experiment (and made me $10 richer!)
2 small stacks paperwork
10 catalogs
1 Christmas tree
2 old magazines
RETURNED:
The following were taken to my mom's house to be left there for the kids to use:
1 Barbie-like doll, minus accessories
5 wooden vehicles
1 zebra ride-on toy
DONATED:
1 ornament
1 pair of Jonas' socks
16 magazines
1 stool/part of potty seat
1 LeapFrog radio
1 cut of fabric (2 yards)
1 Halloween airsock
1 cookbook
1 frame/album
1 tea kettle
2 medium sized vehicles
3 pieces of Jonas' clothing
TOTAL FOR WEEK 2: 63/2008
GRAND TOTAL FOR 2008 SO FAR: 180/2008
All except for a few things have been dropped off at the thrift store. This coming week I think I'll be tackling my closet.
