I did my dd's room. I got a full trash bag! I can't believe how much trash I've collected over the past few days, that we've just been living in.

I didn't count, because that's not working for me. I took pictures of my progress. Looking at them makes me feel more productive than counting. Dh thinks I am insane!

So far, I've cleaned out my spice cabinet, reorganized the rest of the kitchen cabinets, pared down and organized my hall closet, cleaned up my laundry room, relocated the arts and crafts to a more usable space, cleaned the entire third floor (storage eves, toy closet and main space - which acts as a playroom), the bathroom vanity, my dd's room, and cleared the hallway and both stairways of things "on their way" to where they belong. I've made more progress in the last few days than I have in 8 years, I think.

Next on my agenda is my bedroom...which is going to be the hardest/most time consuming. Its where I have more than twenty 30gal storage bins with a decade worth of clothes for 7 people - except they've been dumped out and picked through, and thrown around.

: I am planning on gettting that done this weekend - starting tonight when dh gets home from work, and finishing tomorrow.
Then, I need to do my porch. It's where we keep our shoes, and other than that nothing actually belongs there. But its the first place people dump stuff so its a huge mess - my cousin's hunting gear (no guns or bows, just clothes and boots.

), things that are on the way out to the donation place, or are supposed to be in the car, or given back to someone who left their things here, etc. I'm putting it off because it is super cold out there.

The only thing left after that is the basement. And I need dh's help with that, we've agreed to make it a weekend project to do together, when it warms up in the spring. I don't know if I'll make it that long, though! I'm on such a decluttering kick!
