My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Yea, I'm here too at 3:03 AM PST and it's not an unusual occurance, either.
Tomorrow (1/3) is my son's birthday, which has me kind of riled up; it's not a random "Let's buy ds a bunch of presents and be nice to him" celebration, it's the sixteenth anniversary of a very beautiful, powerful, and yet imperfect birth experience.
A biological event which I will experience again, only with more knowledge, experience, and a bit more wear and tear in a month or so.
Of course this anniversary comes around every year, I guess I'm just more tuned into it and it feels more poignant today.

Me too. I'm asleep on the couch by nine, crawl up to bed around ten, then usually wake up a couple times a night. Last night it was midnight and three thirty. Usually just as I am starting to get back into a good sleep after being up for the last time, the baby starts moving around. So much for one more hour of good sleep.....

My baby's a saint about waking up: s/he never wakes me up, it's always the other way around. It helps me get back to sleep to have the company. When that stopped working, I pretty much gave up on finding anything that would. My sleep is messed up by my kids' school and work vacations, which isn't helping much, and I'm always up several times at night and finally starting to drift off ten minutes before I have to get up for work or some other commitment.
On the bright side, I really appreciate my friends in different time zones these days and am becoming Britsher and Britisher just because it's so great to have someone to talk to when all of "my fellow Americans" are sound asleep in their beds.

I have been having sleep troubles too. I cannot get out of bed though because as soon as I wake up DH wakes up and he has to go to work so I feel bad if he stays up all night with me (This man cannot sleep if he is not holding me or touching me in some way, lol)

Ugh, I m so exhausted this morning, but I coudn't fall asleep last night and then I woke up a few times, my poor achy hips, especially my right one. And now I would love nothing more than to climb back in bed 'til the little ones get home, but the IL's are leaving for a month long cruise and it is always my duty to get their electronics ready for their cavations.... did you see that? Cavations? I need a cavation!

OH yes, I know this. I wake up sooo frequently to pee, and then have to adjust, and then, well I don't always fall back asleep. Sleeping on one side or the other makes it hard on my hands (they start to swell up or get tender). If I lie on my left side, it's ok, because I don't have the same degree of sweeling with that... but the left side is the stare at the clock side, and yeah, it makes it hard when I know the alarm to go to work is looming in 2 hours, 1 hour, 1/2 hour... etc. Ugh. I got about 3 hours of sleep max last night... Good thing it's a sort of slow day at work!
