TMI warning...

Slippery yucky thighs this morning, and it wasn't from a fun time.
Nope! Further inspection found parts of a bloody gooey mucus plug.

OMG - You better not have your baby before me! :

WHOA-Wee!! Well we will wait with baited breath!! But, you, little baby, should stay in a wee bit longer....

Maybe it will grow back!?! Are you feeling ready for that? I'd be freaking!!!

However, I did loose mine 3 times with DD!! I think she was born 2-3 weeks after losing the first one. It's really lovely isn't it?

I sorta wish that it meant I'd go a tiny bit early. Like, in a few weeks maybe... but alas.. my plug was lost early with my last baby and I had her on her due date. So I doubt it means anything is happening soon.

Huh. Weren't you one of the people promising me that you're a habitual late-goer?

Saying that, I've never had a mucus plug give me slippery thighs, mine are all far more contained than that and only show on toilet paper. FAR more ladylike

Oh Helen, if only! Thankfully I was at home when I lost my first one (with DD). I was in a long t-shirt and that's all, and watching TV. When I stood up I basically had snot between my legs and a big ol' clump on the leg I'd been sitting on. I felt anything but lady like!

Yes! This was mine! I literally had to stop and wonder if I had lifted up my nightgown, doubled over, and sneezed between my legs.. because thats what it seemed like! LOL

Can you check your own dilation? Doesn't it mean things are moving a little if it falls out?

My fingers aren't long enough.

I can probably ask dh to do it though and he'd happily oblige.

LOL I can check my own, but DH is like, can't I check it too?

Well I was due with my last dd on Jan 12th (its almost her bday ) and I lost my plug in December. So I went a good 3-4 weeks at least before I had her. But, she never dropped down either which is odd. I literally had to push her down and out when she was born because she hadn't dropped into position yet. Boy were my abs super sore.

Ok, weird question. Is this the mucus that seems to be coming in LARGE, NASTY quantities for the past few days - or is this something different?
