Chiro Babies

Have any of your babies been to the chiro yet? Were any out of alignment?

I went today and then just had her look over DD and her atlas was out of alignment. It went right back in but I'm wondering why it was out. She had a normal birth and was OA. I'm going to bring her back in a week. She thought it might help what I think is reflux she is having.

I took my baby. This is the first time I have ever had a newborn adjusted and I am not even sure "why" I am doing it.

I just think chiros are the greatest thing since sliced bread now. They cleared up ds's asthma, and I think healed me of a depressive episode.

Yea, she was pretty out of alignment. He used the little metal clicky thing on her spine.

Do you have any info on what chiropractic does for a newborn?

no misalignment here, but i understand it can happen even in a "normal" birgh. good for you for getting babe checked out!

DD has been pretty much sleeping ever since we got done there.

I'm not sure the benefits for newborns, just while I was pg the chiro told me to bring her in as soon as possible.

i wanted to take her in asap but ugh getting around is so annoying b/c of sharing the car with my husband. it makes my whole day inconvenient. i wish we had better access to public transport.

i've never been, either, but since i've developed a BF/sleeping neck injury, i think i'm going to find one....

Have my first post-birth appt for myself tomorrow and plan on asking her advice about having him adjusted then. I'm not yet sure if I'm comfortable with it this early.

I had Cassius checked and he was fine, and we will continue to have him checked once or twice a month. I want to keep on top of it so I know it's not causing us any troubles!

We went to the chiro at 6 days. I would have gone earlier but he was closed for Christmas! He adjusted me and Jack.

I'll also probably take him for cranial sacrial therapy as soon as I get a referral from our natruopath. I know that cranial sacrial adjustments are quite helpful for postierior babies.
