Ladies, I'm looking for studies that have been able to link homebirthing with specific populations. Are there any trends that show its associated with a specific type of group, such as something based on religious preference, age, race, socio-economic status, education level, etc? I'm trying to gain a better estimate on just how many people might opt to choose homebirthing in SD if it were better supported by the state (i.e. if it became possible for certified nurse midwives to practice in home deliveries.) Any help you can provide would be much appreciated!
