Is Wool Crepe fabric good for Diaper Covers?

Would 100% wool crepe be good to make a diaper cover with? I'm new to CDing, and would like to try to make some wool covers. Thanks!

I made some with 2 layers and they turned out great. I did wash and dry the fabric first as I thought it was a little thin, it didn't felt up much at all, just enough

Crepe is great. For a daytime cover you would want 2 layers and overnight at least 3. It is a bit lighter weight than the interlocks is all.
