My dd's funny

So, I have very few shirts that still cover my belly. I was talking to dd#2 (4) and she said my belly was sticking out again. I said it was OK, and she said ya, "because there is a baby in there and she needs to see out, if my shirt covered her she could not see what was going on " LOL

Just had to share

Just today 2.5 y.o. dd#1 was telling me a story. I raised my eyebrows in surprise at something she was telling me. She interrupted her story-telling to look at my forehead and ask, "Mommy, why did you crack some lines?" Dh and I lost it! So funny!

Aw.. my dd likes to pour water into my practically non-existant belly button when we take a bath together- she says she's giving it to the baby. She tries to peak in there, too

so cute.

my dd who is 2 insists that she too has a "baby in there" and lifts her shirt up to show everyone.

MamaFern my dd does that too - she also walks around with stuffed animals tucked under her shirt and plays midwife with her grandfather. :

My cousin gave her some princessy storybook for Xmas (grumble grumble) and she asked me to read it to her tonight. There were different princesses on the cover and I named them. As we climbed the stairs for her bath, she said told me she wanted me to read her the "Sleeping Bag" one. It took me a minute to realize she was talking about "Sleeping Beauty"! : : : Oh she's killing me today! Between my cracked lined wrinkles and calling Sleeping Beauty sleeping bag!
