OMG - You wont believe what this woman said to me!

An acquaintence found out that i am currently tandem nursing...I just had my baby girl four days ago and am nursing my nineteen month old

she said to me that nursing them together would cause diseases and might even cause them to become gay/lesbian when they get older.

I asked her about proof and she claims that she has read many studies on the internet about the subject of breastfeeding two siblings at the same time...I asked her what about twins and she claims that is different because they are born at the same time so it is their milk but when your tandem nursing the milk is no longer for the older sibling and is made for the younger sibling only so therefore can cause diseases in the older sibling.

what a bunch of bull****...so just out of curiosity I searched and searched for any kinda study or research and couldnt find anything at all....what is this crazy woman talking about. :

anyone heard anything similar to this....?

The only I can think of is that she found one of those parody websites (like the Onion) about breastfeeding, and thought that it was for real. I did just try to find one of those by googling "extended tandem breastfeeding risks" and the only thing that popped up was information on how extended breastfeeding lowers all kinds of risks for mom and baby. Go figure.
