OMG *where* did you find that website - or I guess I should say "how" did you find it? I thought it was serious for a minute. Then I realized it was a parody on conservative Christian beliefs. As a Christian who hates to call myself that due to many of the crazy and unbiblical beliefs and actions that go around the "church", I found the site to be absolutely hysterical!

I wouldn't bother arguing with someone who was obviously making it up as they go along. I tandem nursed mine for a while, but to be honest, everything I know about it (even what it is called) comes from online. I haven't met anyone else "in real life" who also tandem nursed, at least not where the subject came up.

I think if anyone had said anything like that to me, I would have been genuinely surprised enough to ask, "Hey, where can I meet people like that! I would love to see some of those studies since I was under the impression this is quite uncommon."

Edit to add: I love the Landover Baptist Church. That whole scenario is bizarre enough to be written into one of their articles!

Actually, I have a gay sister, and she was tandem nursed one time (babysitter had a nursling, too). So maybe Crazy Lady is onto something.

u guys are hilarious...I guess I shouldve laughed in her face but she was so serious and she said it in front of a lot of people who were shocked that i was feeding two at the same time....so its like she gave them all a negative messed up perspective of tandem nursing...

but u know I did search and search just trying to look for something out of curiosity and I found nothing...so just as she said all this bull**** in front of all these people and gave them the wrong idea - I am going to see her with that same group of people and I am going to put things straight and tell her I searched and searched and all the research and studies are against everything that she said and to please bring us all proof of what she has said cuz there really isn't. I want these people to know that there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with breastfeeding two babies.

That was actually from another thread here in Lactivism. It was a ways back, I had to search for it. I think the whole question then was "is this for real?" and no, I don't believe it is. I am pretty sure that is a parody site (esp. if you look at their other stuff).

tandem nursing your daughters is good for them

lesbian teens are less likely to have their education disrupted by teen pregnancy

lesbians earn higher working wages than straight women in the workforce because they don't put up with men's $hit.

parents of adult lesbian parents report that their grandchildren are happier because they have two nurturing parents instead of a male father in the home. A quick peek at "the family guy" or "the simpsons" reveals that male fathers are useless bumbling fools.

The WHO has asked for public health officials to encourage tandem nursing in an effort to create more lesbians and ensure the future evolution of the human race. men are being pumped for their sperm, which is being housed in abandoned silos in the midwest (less men = less corn chips)

i know these things because i have 6 daughters.

and that would have been way funnier if i had thought about it more, but this was just me being goofy at 6am. and for the record, I love lesbians, sometimes i wish i was one- so don't get offended by this, you'd spoil all of my fun.
