I just wanted to share the fairy house I made for my daughter for chrismas. I'm so proud of it! Especially since I had no idea what I was doing untill it was done!!

I used to layers of wool felt, with wool batting in between. Then I hand emroidered some designs and and machine embroidered the rest to make it sturdy.

That is so great. I love the dolls as well. What a lovely family you have.

I LOVE that! I also like how you used multiple stitches.

After I finish some of this play food I am making one for the kids to have this Spring. It will go perfectly with the gnomes and fairies I made a couple of years ago.

Does the roof attach to the house in any way?I'm trying to come up with a design for some sort of soft house as an Easter present for my daughter. If yours does would you tell me how?

No the roof doesn't attach, it jsut sits on top. I thought about trying to make a way to have it stick there, but I could figure one out. Plus, my daughter is 18months so I didn't want it to be too difficult to play with. Let me know if you figure something out, I'll be for sure making her another one in the future.
