Help me have a vag. breech birth in S. Florida!

I am almost at 37 weeks pregnant, and my baby is frank breech. My midwife cannot legally care for me after 37 weeks, and I have to transfer out. As far as I know, there is practically NO ONE who will attend a breech birth anymore in my area. My midwife would do it if she could, but her hands are tied.

My first baby was quite large at 9.5 pounds, and I feel that I could push this baby out. I really do not want to be forced into a c-section.

Is there anyone who can help me?

Edited: I am in Sarasota.

Do you have family/friends anywhere in the surrounding states, where you could drive and have a midwife attend there?...

If you live in Broward, Dr. Tsinker at Plantation General does lovely vaginal breech births. He is European trained and is the only OB I know of who does breech, and he does them beautifully.

This is a great lead, thanks! I am in Sarasota, but would be willing to drive. My first labor was only 5 hours, though, so I don't think I can drive too far.

Another option is the Farm in Tennessee...you can stay there beforehand. I'm generally not a big fan, as I think their way too interventionist, but compared to a hospital birth I'd choose the Farm any day! Have you asked about DEMs (under the radar midwives)?

Not quite related but may I ask why your Midwife can no longer care for you...are they illegal is your state?

Midwives are not allowed to do breeches in Florida. She could lose her license.

But the thing is, if she is experienced in breech delivery, there are ways around that. For example, you tell her you believe the baby has turned, call her over when you're 9cm or complete, she checks you, calls 911, and when the paramedics arrive you refuse care. She delivers your breech having covered her backside.

Not that I've ever heard of anything like this happening

eta: don't ever pull this on a midwife who doesn't have a tacit understanding with you, or who doesn't have breech experience
