My due date is Sept 24, and we found out today, we are having a boy!

I am now 26 and DS is now 2. And we are having a girl! Her name is Jenna.

I'm Jenn, I'm 28, having our first baby at a freestanding birth center with a wonderful midwife. We have a backup midwife in case of emergency at our local hospital. I'm due Sept 5th, but we're sure this will be an August baby. We're also not finding out the sex until the birth - we love surprises!

New to Mothering and late to this DDC I'm 30 and hope to be having our first baby with a midwife at home. Just found out two weeks ago it's a boy and he's expected on Sept 9!

we are having our 20 week ultrasound today and we're going to try to not find out the gender

Level II u/s on this Wednesday, May 21st to make sure a Choroid Plexus Cyst is gone that was found at the abnormality/gender scan at 18 weeks. : Wish me luck!!! : ;o)

**Update** on my angel baby :*(
Our baby passed... she was stillborn on Thursday, June 5th @ 4:30 p.m. at 27 weeks and we named her Adalyn Love (Adalyn pronounced like Madalyn without the "M"). It's a mixed blessing... although very devastating, we're happy that she's in a better place and it's big relief. We have an angel in heaven to look down on us now. At my "follow-up" u/s that the original Doc had assured us the C.P. Cyst would be gone, they found more issues. c-ACC, a major part of the brain completely missing, the cyst was still there, hydrocephalus & genetic abnormalities. So, just as soon as I say, "hi," I must say, "good bye," to the September forum.

For now, I'm going to just concentrate on obsessing about CD'ing my toddler (ha ha...). I just enjoy CD'ing so much and I think I'm gonna go sell/trade for some Haute Pockets! I just got a BEAUTIFUL new large wetbag with all kinds of fancy features from one of my girlfriends on another site who makes 'em. DH is buying me a step-on pedal, lidded trash can to use with the new wetbag today. Can't wait to try it!! Ahh... the littlest things that amuse us! ;o)

Hi Ladies,

I have been lurking in this thread since early in the pregnancy, but never introduced myself, so...

I am Norabella, (26). My DH (29) and I have been married for 5 years and are expecting our first in September, officially the 13th. My EDD would be the 8th according to ovulation, the 13th according to LMP, and we decided with our midwife to go with the 13th b/c in my state (AK) midwives have to transfer care at 42 weeks, so by using the later date we have a little more room for this babe to be "late."

We are planning a : with a midwife that we really like, and who comes highly recommended by many of our friends.

This baby will be a : and we are planning on :: (probably EC) (if its a boy) and though we don't have the vax decision completely made, will at least do selective/delayed, if at all. Oh, and we will homeschool when we get to that point. (I guess you could say we are pretty crunchy)

We're currently pregnant with our first child : due on Sept. 30. (This could put us into the October range, but we'll have to see.) Not all plans are complete yet, but the hubby and I have agreed to delay vaccinations as long as we can. (Our state has really strict laws regarding this.) We are also really want to : and, given my family history, that should not be a problem at all.

Can you add that we're having a home birth? I'm going to try laboring in our big tub too, but if I don't like it can't guarantee I'll have a water birth.

Yeah especially with the first. I mean I've read enough that I know what is going to happen and know what to expect, but I still feel like I have no idea what is going to happen.
