yay!! ive been following the old thread but i dont think i have posted more than once or twice, so to RE-introduce myself, My name is Jackie, and DH and i have a 2.5 yr old and a 15 month old We have been casually looking for a church for a looong time, and finally found one we like So i am excited about that

Sweet! That other thread was really long. I'm so glad for the new year, and for coming back to the Lord. I just went to the Lord's day meeting on Sunday and the testimony from the training was so wonderful! The training was on 2 Peter, about how when we are going through hard times, it is so we can gain Christ! To just give all our anxieties to Him, and to lean on Him, and that's what I've been doing. I've been going through a lot lately, what with my marriage, my health, and now my housing. It's a lot to deal with, and sometimes it's hard not to worry and just to put it all on Him.

Since I'm new I'll introduce myself...
I'm a brand new ministerial student, Called to be a deacon in my church. I'm really wondering what God's plan for my ministry will be, and where He will lead me.

I'm a SAHM with a DH and 1 DS working on dc #2!

I'm crunchy and I'm also a seminary graduate (Master of Divinity). I am quite progressive in my theology and take a decidedly social justice bent in my views. My area of focus has primarily been Womanist Theology (feminist too, but mostly womanist), Black Theology, and other liberation theologies. I'm politically quite liberal.

Gina i am mama bear to 2 cubs, tig just turned 8 and roo will be 5 next month. i'm a former breastfeeding counselor, and am hs as well. roo is still nursing, though i expect she'll be done soon.

Hey all! I'm a Christian, may I join in?

I live in Northern Colorado and have one 6.5 mo DS. DH and I have been Christians "forever" I guess you could say. We were both raised Lutheran but we have been attending evangelical and community-type churches. The church we are currently attending doesn't mesh with some of our beliefs so we are searching again - I hate the searching process. Right now we are looking at a United Methodist church...does anyone have any experience with that denomination? What are the best and worst things about it?

I just became a SAHM about a month ago and am still adjusting. When DH comes home every night it is just fine but Monday night he was out of town for work and by Tuesday midday I was going crazy. I think I also need prayer for patience.
