Digging in my bag earlier today looking for something to write with, I found 14 different colored crayons - but no pen.

My bag regularly has:

Crayons/scrap paper
2 toy cars
spare diaper
spare clean underpants
at least one dirty child's sock

Hee Hee, that's funny - I have superman's head in my purse! Now that I'm thinking of it, I'm wondering why it's just the head and where is the body and why don't I just get rid of it???

Went out for my birthday last night, sitting at the sushi bar and go to check my phone in my purse, only to pull out a baby bottle with milk in it that was supposed to be left at Grandma's!!! Teething gel shows up in there frequently too.

I don't put kid stuff in my purse. When they were about 2 I bought them their own little backpacks for toys, snacks, a sippy and a diaper and wipes. They carry it or it rides in the stroller. I hate things that belong to other people in my purse. I also won't carry dh's cell, GPS, keys or wallet. The rare exception is just a diaper. I'm picky about what goes in my purse.

Right now?

Hand sanitizer, snack sized bags of crackers, 2 hot wheels cars and a juice box.

The other day I had the pleasure of discovering the dried-up crumbs of a leftover chocolate cookie that had been wrapped in a napkin.. and then forgotten.

I have one sock, some little legos, a binky, and a matcbox car. Not much else either. Don't usually carry a purse.

Funniest thing ever. I got out my cell to call home the other day, and realized that instead of my lovely red Samsung, I had instead picked up and put in my purse my ds3's Red Power Ranger Mystic Force thingy... boy didn't I look hip in the doctor's office with my Mystic Force toy up to my ear....

I hear ya on the crayons!
Currently I also have hand sanitizer, a match box car, a half eaten granola bar from God only knows when, and some crusty tissues (ew!).

My house key also now has a picture of Winnie the Pooh on it - son picked it out at Lowe's when I needed a spare.

heh!

did anyone ever see the film "On fine day" with michell pfeiffer and george clooney?

Thre was a moment when she makes a super hero costume out of stuff in her bag - emergency silver blanket, etc - and another moment when she pulls out a bag of toy cars to go along with her architects model for a client.

One of the other characters says "I want a bag like that".

underpants

Last week at the store I found a pair of stinky peed-on underwear in the 'secret' pocket on the back of my purse. DS had a little accident, and I took them off of him in the store restroom... but then I forgot about them. They really stunk when I discovered them.

Crayons.

Rocks. Definitely never saved those before I was a mom.

I guess just nappy and wipes. I don't really take alot out for DS when we go out - I usually just chuck a drink in there for him, but even that I will often leave out, depending where we're going.

Legos.

Lots of them.

Fruit leathers.
