I know you're supposed to wait several weeks to have sex post partum, but what about having an orgasm? I'm only two weeks post partum but have been in the mood and wondered if theres any reason NOT to.

We had sex at 4 weeks pp. I had my first orgasm at 2 or 3 weeks. I survived.

that's interesting to me - b/c when i was about 7 - 9 mo. pg, i complained to dh that i usually could only have half of an orgasm.... as in it would start, and then, poof! gone.

haven't tried pp, though. allergic reaction to all menstrual products has shut this vagina DOWN.

I don't think you have to wait several weeks. Go for it, it might increase your locchia a little bit, but it's really OK. DTD or have an O, lucky you, it's the farthest thing from my mind right now.

we GIO last night, at exactly 3 wks pp. the orgasms were just fine (no more big round bone-crusher mama!), but i'm just a little roughed up from the friction on my one little skid mark that i thought was completely healed. not complaining, though, and dp sure as hell isn't.
