I sure hope I don't go into labor in the next few days....
My 3yo puked last night, then had diarrhea this morning and afternoon. I've had no sleep. thank god he made it to the bathroom to throw up even though most of it went on the toilet not in it and I'm so relieved that DH cleaned it up b/c our son needed to cuddle mama. I could not have got down on the floor and back up again. LOL.
Now, within the course of dinner at a friends house (we thought he was doing better and would be okay), the same 3yo started in with a scratchy voice, sneezed out a 5 inch long glob of stuff and started saying he doesn't feel well.

I'm taking airborne ( I don't care if I should or not ) and going to bed praying I don't -a. get sick or -b. bring new baby into this house of sickness. Also, that our oldest somehow misses it...she is usually the one to come down with anything going around.

I am going to wash all our sheets, mop and air out the house tomorrow. UGH
Tonight little DS and DD are sleeping together with the vaporizer going in their room. I figure if she's gonna get it she will either way and at night the vaporizer should help both of them if that is the case.

Baby stay put!

I think baby sister is waiting for the sickness to be out of our house too. both kiddos still have yucky noses.. nothing SUPER like yours, but still.

My midwife told me that babies wait until the mamas are not sick. I am beginning to wonder if it will be spring before this one has the all clear...it seems we have been sick since November!

I hope your little one gets well very soon and that you don't catch it!

Yeah, I've actually been paranoid about being sick and in labor at the same time (or having a sick DD). I can't go anywhere anyway, but we've skipped church the past 2 weeks, and are avoiding places where kids are crowded together, just in case....

My family just got over the nasty stomach bug that was going around. I asked baby to stay put unitl I could rest a bit. It would have been horrible to be sick like that in labor. My dp was sick for about 4 days but he never threw up and my son and I did so there was nothing going through our systems for days on end and we healed much more quickly.
I hope everyone stays well!

We live with my parents and my dad was puking all night (this happens about once a month - I think it has something to do with his hepatitis C.. but you never know if its just him or a bug lol) and then today Ive been having diarrhea since about 10:30 and Im sooooo nauseas. DH is in Jax getting the new house ready, we move on Saturday (the 12th), the kids are in a mood today, we were gone all day yesterday running errands shopping for the new house, Im 37w3d and I do NOT want to pop until after Sunday (the 13th) AGHHHHH... So yeah, Im just praying its because we ate at Rainforest Cafe yesterday and I ate something that I normally dont eat lol.. I am NOT ready for this baby.. my diapers come tomorrow though.. yay! lol. But seriously I hope my kids dont get anything because between the 3 of them passing it back and forth, they can get 1 cold and someone will be sick for 2 months LOL

thanks for the well wishes. My son is doing better today - no more stomach, intestinal issues, just the runny nose/cough.
I did mop the entire house and sort of strained my back. Honestly, I don't think I've mopped the entire house in one day since before we moved in. LOL - darn nesting instincts. So I'm in bed on the heating pad right now...took some tylenol too.
I was trying to explain to our four yo daughter that my owie was inside my back, and she says, OH like if you forgot that you swallowed a sword.
Yes, Eva like if I forgot that I swallowed a sword.

Oh, to think like a 4yo.

Aww, that stinks! I'm glad DS is feeling better. I got a stomach bug a few days before Christmas. The dehydration made me have tons of ctrx and I was worried I'd go into labor while sick. NOT fun! Thankfully we made it through and no one else got it.
