I had super painful, but not organized contractions last night - I kept thinking they were going to get into a pattern and I was going to have a baby, but NO.
well when labor does start i bet this baby will just fall out after all those contractions, they have to be doing something!

You have a wonderful attitude! I wish I wasn't feeling so bitter. It seems like the super painful contractions have started again. *sigh*

Me, I'm still here! I've had some pretty painful ctx the last few days, too, but like starry mama, I've had no tangible progress.
I did try some black cohosh tincture last night, which was vile and did not do much of anything. I will try pumping again this afternoon.
Getting up to go to the bathroom last night was pure torture on my pelvis!

Did you read my posts about black/blue cohosh from the other day? I tried them and vomited. SO NASTY!

You ladies are absolute troopers ... all those contractions just HAVE to be doing something, right?!?!?

I am still here too. Contractions from 5 a.m. on, very mild, 10 minutes apart.

Good morning, mamas. I'm sending lots of labor vibes your way for a Sunday baby.
The cohosh sounds almost worse than the castor oil, eesh. Lots of sex really sounds like the only non-sucky induction method.
Speaking of, where's Lizzardbits? I'm assuming she had her baby? Somebody ring the NHS and ask for an update. I'm curious here.

Yea, and because of my possible broken waters, sex is a no-go. My only choices are to wait or pitocin - blue/black cohosh made me vomit, castor oil sounds like torture (and possibly includes more vomiting), and sex is out of the question. I HATE WAITING!

What about acupuncture, chiropractor, craniosacral therapy?

My ds, 4, is currently making SURE mommy doesnt get a nap right now.

I really really really really really need sleep.

I am really mad at my kids. (Probably because I am so tired. They are probably acting completley fine.)

maybe you've already tried this but... here's a link for acupressure points and if you read what they do some stimulate/help progress labor. i tried a bunch of them randomly and totally felt that they caused ctx. i didn't try them to actually induce labor though, because the baby came earlier than i was hoping for (i was rooting for 41w) so i didn't get a chance to try to induce myself... but i know women who have had luck with this method!

eta induction methods from nov 07 ddc... link

You can't have intercourse, but...

You gals really are troopers. It does sound like things are moving in the right direction for everyone. I think we will have a baby or two tonight or tomorrow! If it makes you feel better, I did start to have bloody show but I had no significant contractions the day I went into labor. The super painful ones just started 5 mins apart out of nowhere.

That gives me hope.

My ctx have petered out for now, but I still have a constant-ish low crampy feeling.

Still here. 42wks1day.

Can't walk too much, pelvic bone and a sledgehammer seemed to have had a duel while I was sleeping.
House is a disaster. Trying not to stress out about it too much.

DP completely sucks at the moment, so I see that as a sign of impending labor.
